Things Are Kicking Into Gear

Posted by Dean Kuest @ 10:13 am

What a great night last night was. I loved the vulnerability and discussion that came out of our time together. It is obvious that we all identify with “struggle” in life and in our understanding with God and yet, in that struggle, He meets us, each in our own way, and reveals Himself in the midst of the storm. I’m already looking forward to next week. The topic is “Flame” and we’re talking about love.

Remember to be quick to invite friends and family. We need to be connecting with people who connect with people who connect with people. Word of mouth is always the best advertisement - not some telemarketing call telling you about the new church in town.

Here are a few things coming up in the next few weeks:

July 17th
I’ll be preaching at Greenwood Christian Church in Seattle.
We would love for you to join us there that Sunday.

July 17th at 5:00pm, we are planning a BBQ at Silver Lake. Would anyone be interested in helping to put the food list together and assigning who ought to bring what? Not being a detail person, I will likely forget something!

July 29th and 30th, Quest Church in Seattle is having a Faith and Race Conference. This is a church both John and I have been to several times. I have met with their Lead Pastor and really respect the ministry that is taking place there. The cost for the conference is only $20 and I want to encourage anyone who is interested to join us. Please let us know if you want to attend, and we can work out a carpool.
