The Hodos Project

The what project?
Hodos is the Greek word for way or journey. Or, ahem, pathway. It was the first name that was given to the early Christians as they lived in the Way of Jesus. (See Acts 9:2.) Hodos Project seemed like a fitting name for this season of life as we journey south to start a new community in the Way of Jesus.
I have set up a website at HodosProject.org to share what is happening on our church planting venture. We would love to have you follow along! Your support and encouragement means a great deal to us, both while we are still here in the Northwest, and for when we begin the trek south.

Just a note for casual readers of our blog. John Chandler came to Seattle with his family to help us plant Pathways Church as our Associate Pastor in April of 2005. It has been our goal from the beginning that within three years they would be launched from Pathways to start a new church community. That community is right now in the works as they plan to move into the Austin, TX area within the next couple of months. We’re pretty darn excited for them.
